Both our service in impoverished rural communities and our advocacy on behalf
of health care and social justice for the poor are reinforced by research and
publications that document the need, monitor the impact and demonstrate the
benefits of commmunity-based care.
PIH staff research and write numerous articles
for influential scientific journals. As part of our advocacy, we also prepare
essays that are often delivered as speeches or in publications distributed
to less specialized audiences.
