The Economic Annex to the Global Plan to Stop TB, by Olivier Appaix, provides the methodology and assumptions behind the cost estimates in the Global Plan to Stop TB. The Global Plan estimated costs of $9.1 billion to meet the World Health Organization goals for TB control in 114 countries. The Economic Annex explains the financial model used to derive those estimates, and provides an analysis of these projected costs by activity, by region and by year.
