Rwanda Country Director

Prevention and Access to Care and Treatment (PACT)
Project Assistant
In partnership with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, Qualis Health, and 4 Massachusetts FQHCs, the PACT Project has established the Care Without Walls Alliance (CWA) - a dissemination group focused on demonstrating the high impact of well-supported community health workers (CHWs) on the most costly and complex patients. The CWA Project Assistant will work as a member of the project team to ensure that timelines and goals are documented, monitored, and achieved. He/she will also be responsible for organizing learning collaboratives, overseeing multi-partner meetings, and documenting all innovations in the operations manual. Senior Analyst
In partnership with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, Qualis Health, and 4 Massachusetts FQHCs, the PACT Project has established the Care Without Walls Alliance (CWA) - a dissemination group focused on demonstrating the high impact of well-supported community health workers (CHWs) on the most costly and complex patients. The Senior Analyst will work closely with analysts from the four health centers and PACT's Director of M&E to setup the necessary analytic and information technology to support a centralized population management software. S/he will be responsible for ensuring that information is freely being exchanged and cleaned across the entire project and that data is readily available for evaluation. Administrative Assistant
Institute for Justice & Democracy in Haiti
The Administrative Assistant will report to the Development and Communications Manager and the Executive Director. It will support fundraising, communications and operations by maintaining office systems and assisting with all aspects of organizational development. The position will include the option of training to move up to advocacy, fundraising and communications positions as the organization grows.

Deputy Country Directory of Research and Evaluation

Post Graduate Fellowship in Global Health
Additional positions have become available in a post graduate fellowship program in global health, directed by the Global pediatrics Program of Children’s Hospital Boston in collaboration with Partners in Health. Fellows combine work at PIH and Ministry of Health Hospitals in Haiti and Rwanda with clinical and course work in Boston. While abroad, fellows work with Rwandan and Haitian colleagues to improve the quality of pediatric services. Fellows share their clinical experience through bedside and didactic teaching, and work with local staff to implement specific programs and projects.
Global Pediatric Fellows rotate in 6 month blocks between Boston and either Haiti or Rwanda over a 2 year period. Partners in Health provides airfare between Boston and either Haiti or Rwanda, and room and board in-country.While at Children’s Hospital in Boston, pediatricians work clinically as hospitalists and have the opportunity to attend regular lectures and seminars on relevant global health topics. In addition, fellows attend a 3 week summer program in global health at Harvard School of Public Health. Part-time Portuguese Speaking Community Health Worker
The Prevention and Access to Care and Treatment (PACT) Project
The Prevention and Access to Care and Treatment (PACT) Project, is the domestic program of Partners In Health (PIH), and a project of the Division of Global Health Equity at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. The PACT HIV program is hiring a part-time Portuguese speaking community health worker to provide daily observed therapy (DOT) and weekly health promotion to complex HIV/AIDS patients in the city of Boston. This positions requires that you have a car to travel to clients homes and that you are fluent in English and Portuguese.
The PACT HIV program is a community-based program that uses community health workers (CHWs) to achieve three primary goals: 1) to provide harm reduction training, materials, and prevention case management to high-risk and HIV-positive individuals; 2) to increase access to and utilization of culturally-relevant and respectful health care and social services for those infected with HIV; and 3) to mobilize the Boston community to advocate for its health and to address the underlying conditions and inequalities that create such vulnerability. Global Pediatric Fellowship
Children's Hospital Boston
Children’s Hospital Boston is looking for excellent pediatricians or graduating senior pediatric residents who would be interested in applying for a global pediatric fellowship, which would involve a field placement in Haiti with Partners In Health. The position would involve: developing strong productive relationships with our Haitian colleagues to identify core challenges to quality pediatric care and devising a collaborative plan for improvement; accompanying Haitian health care workers in developing their capacity to implement new program initiatives and quality care interventions; and sharing clinical expertise at the bedside and through didactic teaching.
