Regional Representatives
Regional Representatives serve as informed advocates for Partners In Health. We work closely with our Regional Representatives to grow our regional communities and help increase awareness around our global health goals.
What are the responsibilities of a Regional Representative?
PIH looks to our representatives to host regional events, share PIH news with their communities, and meet with and solicit prospective donors. Regional Representatives and their communities commit to supporting Partners In Health's annual fund and our 25th anniversary drive.
Where do Regional Representatives serve?
We support Regional Representatives from Maine to California, in Europe and even Australia. Click to see a list of existing Communities. We balance expanding our geographic reach with building long-term partnerships with communities to support our work.
Does PIH provide support to Regional Representatives?
We accompany our Regional Representatives in a variety of ways. We provide support from our Development staff, share PIH news and updates, assist with event planning, bring PIH speakers to events, provide PIH materials, and pledge to keep in regular contact. All of our Regional Representatives are also invited to semi-annual workshops where they receive updates on PIH's work and exchange ideas with one another.
How do I become a Regional Representative?
We welcome anyone who is interested supporting the work of PIH to learn more about becoming a Regional Representative. Please email us at info@pih.org and tell us a little about yourself and why you are interested in organizing your community.
