Violence in Haiti has escalated to the worst seen in years. But despite that, our teams in Haiti continue to provide high-quality care. Our patient and staff safety will always be our highest priority. With lives on the line, every second matters and each donation helps. Partners In Health (PIH) and our sister organization in Haiti, Zanmi Lasante (ZL), are facing severe challenges brought on by escalating insecurity in Haiti: 

  • Violence remains a constant threat. 
  • Roadblocks delay the movement of essential supplies, including medications. 
  • Prices for necessities such as food and fuel have skyrocketed—a bag of rice can cost up to $120.   

U.S. embassy personnel have been airlifted out. EU delegations have temporarily shut down. But our hospital doors remain open, and our heroic staff continues to deliver lifesaving health care as a human right.
