Description: The 2023 Paul Farmer Symposium on Global Health equity was hosted by Partners In Health; the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School; the Division of Global Health Equity at Brigham and Women’s Hospital; and the Harvard Global Health Institute. Discussions on Paul Farmer’s experience in Haiti, and Haiti’s role as a force in the movement for global health equity took place during this event. Through two panels and a keynote address, we heard from experts, thought leaders, and Paul’s colleagues and friends on the importance of Haiti and how Paul’s vision and legacy remain vibrant both in Haiti and globally today.
