Ryan Schaefer is a Washington, DC-based development professional with a background in fundraising, relationship management, and mission-driven work. Before joining PIH, Ryan worked at the LGBTQ+ Victory Fund and brings experience from political campaigns, including a mayoral race in Lawrence, MA and Elizabeth Warren's presidential campaign — all of which shaped his commitment to equity and community-centered work.

Outside the office, Ryan produces and performs in comedy shows and captures his family, friends, and life through film photography. He also enjoys spending time at home with his cats, Jinkx and Pumpkin.
