Like 1 in 4 children in Haiti, Raphaël was starving. His mother took him to a PIH-supported malnutrition clinic, where he was immediately hospitalized and began treatment. Now, thanks to PIH’s help, he’s growing strong and healthy.

Saio was one of millions suffering from tuberculosis, the world’s deadliest infectious disease. After receiving lifesaving treatment from PIH in Sierra Leone, the now 29-year-old widow is cured and reunited with her children.

Fynn Crooks first joined the PIH movement as a member of PIH Engage—a grassroots network of community organizers. Today, as a PIH Advocacy staff member, they are teaching Engage members how to advocate for global health policy.
