Kamohelo Phoofolo, 8 months old, was born safely at a facility revitalized by Lesotho's national health care reform, one of nearly 4,000 more safe childbirths in 2017 than in years prior.

After three months of regular care, 1-year-old Violet McDonald had gained nearly three vital pounds, as one of 11 children enrolled in the malnutrition clinic at the PIH-supported Matope Health Center.
